UneeQ announces new-look board 2019.png

UneeQ aims to be the global standard for digital humans, enabling the best creative minds to design and build amazing experiences that improve human life. The company already has a presence in ANZ, Europe and America—and will be actively expanding its presence in North America as it seeks to offer both enterprise and product builders a best-in-class digital human platform.

This growth ambition is supported by the appointment of three new members who reflect and will enhance these growth ambitions—all of whom have significant experience in hyper growth strategy of some of the world’s largest, most successful and most audacious brands:

These three fantastic additions add to the skills and experience of current board members Adam Clark (chairman), Andrew Hamilton and UneeQ Founder and CEO Danny Tomsett.

Complementing the company’s board is a stellar team of advisors, including Series A investor and Salesforce Chief Scientist Richard Socher.

Danny Tomsett explains: “We are really well positioned for a truly global push, and to scale digital humans in such a way that they start improving people’s lives on a massive scale.

“We now have leadership from the people who brought exciting, state-of-the-art tech into the world, particularly our key markets.

“This includes voice-led application Alexa, face-to-face tool for Skype, global marketing platform Hootsuite and AI-powered digital pathology platform Deep Lens.

“Lovina, Kirsty and Simon bring fantastic experience and knowledge, not just in the companies they’ve worked for but the products and projects they’ve been involved with.”

Who are Lovina, Kirsty and Simon?

Lovina McMurchy UneeQ board.png

Lovina brings more than 20 years of experience spanning both B2C and B2B companies in the United States, many of whom are household names.

Lovina previously held leadership roles in game-changing projects, including as GM and Director of Alexa Shopping, GM and Director of Amazon Subscriptions and GM of Skype.

In her own words, her “sweet spot is in scaling businesses from <$50m to $200m-$500m in situations where new direction is needed to accelerate growth”.

Kirsty Traill UneeQ board.png

Kirsty is our board’s customer-experience extraordinaire, with a track record of delivering the best CX while optimizing business operations, fitting perfectly with UneeQ’s core value of CX being everything.

She brings extensive B2B and B2C, SaaS, and eCommerce experience across diverse geographies, such as New Zealand, Japan and North America.

Kirsty is currently VP Client Advocacy at Yext, the world's leading digital knowledge management (DKM) platform, headquartered in NYC.  Prior to Yext , she held the position of VP, Customer at Hootsuite in San Francisco, where she used customer insights to drive strategic initiatives, designed to maximize adoption, usage, engagement and retention, for exceptional brand loyalty.

Simon Arkell UneeQ board.png

Keen-eyed fans of athletics might know Simon as an Olympic pole vaulter, who represented Australia in two consecutive Summer Olympics in the early ‘90s. But it’s actually in the US technology scene where he sets the highest bar.

Simon is a tech entrepreneur with a focus on AI and analytics technologies. He has been the co-founder of 10 companies, including Deep Lens (a cutting-edge clinical trial recruitment platform in oncology) and Predixion Software (an IoT analytics software company).

He is also the co-founder and MC of the "Megan's Wings Gala" which raises money for the families of children diagnosed with cancer—fitting perfectly, as our entire board do, with UneeQ’s “using technology for good” core value.
